What’s going on with Heather

The Women’s Tennis Association ranks her at 81st in the world but Olympic medalist Heather Watson knows she will have to push herself harder this season if she is to improve.
At 24 the Guernsey-born currently through to the second round of the Australian Open is reported as saying: “When it gets hard for me is when I’ve done too many weeks on the road and all I think about is going home.”
Despite having pocketed more than $2 million in her professional career to date – she turned pro in 2010 – the right-handed British women’s number two, says she is now more motivated more than ever having dropped 31 places from 50 after taking time off last year.
